The Queens The Queens
Presented by: Glasswater Theatre

The re-imagined story of Richard III is given a physical presentation by a fresh young company.

As the reign of King Edward comes to an end, his brother Richard is plotting to take the throne. Behind the scenes, six women of royal influence meet to decide who among them will be queen.

Will Isabel Warwick's long-standing plot to take the crown be usurped by her sister Anne's ambition to marry Richard?

Peter Hinton calls the script "poetic" and "alluring". Written by French-Canadian playwright Normand Chaurette and translated by Linda Gaboriau, The Queens is sure to thrill and engage.
