Early Seedling Development is a collective of emerging artists based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that collaborate on a daily basis to create new works of theatre centered around specific locations within urban environments. As artists, we are heavily influenced by the work of avant-garde director Anne Bogart and the work she has helped develop, namely: Viewpoints improvisation, taught by Michael Greyeyes across Canada and at Volcano Theatre's Conservatory; and her Composition work, which is taught at Columbia University among many others.
