March break animation workshops for children
French workshops offered March 12, March 15 and March 19 at 1 PM
Kids aged 6–13 will explore history, learn about different cultures and animate their own films, all in a fun and interactive workshop environment. Call 416-973-3012 to sign up today! A parent, at no extra charge, must accompany their child.
Saturday, March 12: Ancient Egypt (sand animation) Learn how to spell your name—in hieroglyphics!
Sunday, March 13: Jurassic (3-D clay) Have an encounter with a dinosaur of your own creation!
Monday, March 14: Easter Island (3-D sand dough) Make your own Moai statue to stand the test of time!
Tuesday, March 15: Mayan (pixilation) Climb to the top and enjoy the view from a Mayan temple!
Wednesday, March 16: Ancient Greece (3-D clay) Animate your favourite Greek god or goddess in a film of mythic proportions!
Thursday, March 17: Ancient China (object animation) Animate your own Chinese dragon—don’t worry, they won’t bite!
Friday, March 18: Prehistoric (2-D) Leave your message on a cave wall, to be discovered centuries later!
Saturday, March 19: Ancient Rome (3-D clay) Do as the Romans did—take part in a chariot race as the audience cheers you on!
Sunday, March 20: Medieval (2-D classical animation/paper cut-out) Tell your story through the creation of a family crest!
