About STPTLKNG:
STOPTALKING is an ongoing series of intimate evenings held in Toronto, Ontario. The first installment took place in September 2009 and it featured a modest collection of local performers providing a unique variety of entertainment. Since then STOPTALKING has continued to flourish, drawing in a diverse range of artists and successively larger crowds.
Our primary objective is to give our audience an engaging evening which focuses on word, sound and movement through a wide spectrum of styles. STOPTALKING features storytelling, poetry, confessionals, jokes, performance art, personal letters, skits, and so much more. Each performer brings their own unique attitude — some emitting jarring amounts of confidence and conviction, while others provide an intimate view of human vulnerability.
STOPTALKING continues to develop as we strive to provide a high-quality source of live entertainment to the public, along with an outlet for members in the community to express themselves.
Come out to the next STOPTALKING, or watch videos of past performances online, and immerse yourself in an extraordinary and refreshing source of entertainment.
