Alicier Arts Chamber Music is Toronto's newest chamber music concert series. It was founded in February 2006 by its Artistic Directors, flutist Kimberley Schemeit and violinist Phoebe Tsang. For their inaugural season, Alicier Arts makes their home at the church of St.George’s-on-the-Hill in the Kingsway area of Toronto. Alicier Arts represents the current generation of recent graduates and young professionals whose passion and enthusiasm for chamber music has enabled us to present eclectic programmes featuring casts of up to 10 instrumentalists. Our aim is to strengthen and develop the community of Toronto’s artists and audiences, emphasizing the collaborative and communicative aspects of chamber music. We invite you to come hear what we are up to - and if you like what you hear, we welcome your involvement in our support network of listeners, volunteers and sponsors.
