The Homestead is owned and operated by The James Shaver Woodsworth Homestead Foundation, and is staffed mainly by volunteers. Donations, rental income, weddings and other functions make the house self-sustaining. It is one of the few historic sites in Ontario that does not receive financial assistance from any level of government. New members and volunteers are always welcome. Postal address
