Established in the fall of 1999 as a non-audition chorus, Common Thread welcomes all voices to sing, celebrate diversity, community, human dignity and to promote social justice. Drawing on a repertoire of traditional and contemporary folk music from around the world, Common Thread's objectives include helping community groups raise funds and awareness about important social issues, or to lead informal sing-alongs in various community settings.
