On November 17th, the Thompson Landry Gallery presents Feedback, a solo exhibition by Montreal artist, Ognian Zekoff.
Ognian Zekoff’s high-realism oil paintings on canvas instantly catch the eye of viewers as their incredible closeness to reality approaches a visual illusion. Zekoff has mastered the ability to capture what is the mood of his subject by simply portraying the hands. They conjure a range of emotions such as anxiety, concern, protection and love. The simplicity and purity of his works contradict the overwhelming influx of images that saturate our everyday lives in modern society.
