Skating under the night sky with a view of the lake! The Natrel Rink hosts another exciting line-up of the city's hottest DJs on Toronto's biggest outdoor rink.
Winter nights just got a lot cooler with the return of the popular DJ Skate Nights at Harbourfront Centre’s Natrel® Rink. Voted by the Toronto Star as one of 175 Reasons to Love Toronto, DJ Skate Nights run every Saturday night from Dec. 5 to Feb. 13 (except Boxing Day) and feature a new set of mix-masters spinning hip hop, reggae and dub, disco, swing, deep house and more.
The first of 10 DJ Skate Nights kicks off with the Gang of Two: DJ Andycapp and Rod Skimmins (Bang the Party) presenting a night of electronic, disco-house and dub. The fun continues throughout December and January with more of Toronto’s most dynamic turntablists including Goin’ Steady DJs, Promise DJs, Nocturnal DJs and a unique live-set with electric piano, synth and computer from John Kameel Farah.
February features a special celebration of Black History Month at Harbourfront Centre’s Kuumba festival. On Feb. 6, as DJs Carl Allen and Kwame Younge spin soul, funk, house and reggae to entice your ears and get your feet moving. DJ Skate Nights sessions end with a bang on Feb.13, when the Cherry Bomb DJs Cozmic Cat and Denise Benson drop the bomb on the Natrel® Rink with their high-energy mash-up of house and electro mixes.
