A mini showcase presented by youth to raise funds for the AfroChic June Showcase...
Performances by Community Youth performers: Rush On Vivid, Mikey, Jonika Lewis, Jyrome Good and more!!!
The fundraiser will highlight youth artists (16-29) modern dance performers, visual artists, spoken word poets and musicians (guitarist, drummer)
This mini showcase/concert will give the young artists the opportunity to showcase their incredible talents.
The proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards funding the 2011 AfroChic Festival held on the weekend of June 11th and June 12th.
Day one of the Festival will consist of the entertainment arts showcase held on June 11th 2011 at Twist Art Gallery, www.twistgallery.ca - Hosted by Ivy Prosper featuring live performances, art displays, a fashion show, vendors etc
Day two of the Festival will consist of a community voices brunch held on June 12th 2011 at Trane Studio
www.tranestudio.com - Host TBA, featuring a live discussion on Community issues including Financial literacy presentation by TD Bank and the body aesthetic.
