COMMFFEST presents a diverse lineup of films representing current affairs and relevant issues that affect our communities, providing filmmakers the opportunity to express themselves freely and connect with audiences on a personal level. NOW Magazine declares that there are few festivals with the "grassroots and gumption" of COMMFFEST, and adds, "the eclectic slate consists of a mix of shorts and features most of which use a tiny budget and take on underexplored themes."
