Merging and Emerging is part of C27 Arts Fest that celebrates Article 27 in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which states "Everyone has the right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and to share in scientific advancements and its benefits"
C27 Arts Fest aims to promote and celebrate an important aspect of everyday life – Toronto's vibrant cultural and community arts landscape. Arts Services in partnership with arts groups and artists presents events, activities and dialogues at cultural centres and community venues throughout the city.
C27 Arts Fest values peoples' participation in culture, community and art as a human right. The festival regards these fundamentals as enablers of creativity, imagination and ingenuity that help tell stories, build relationships and promote dialogue and understanding between peoples from all walks of life, minding us that we are all connected.
