Benefit concert in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale (Director Brainerd Blyden-Taylor) and Soul Influence perform in a Benefit Concert in support of Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is Canada's first professional choral group dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles, including classical, spiritual, gospel, jazz, folk and blues. They will be performing the Nguzo Saba Suite. Soul Influence is an a cappella septet, African in it's choice of rhythm and beat, Afro-jazz in its musical style, Christian in its conviction and lyrics.

Organizers: Togogo Grannies of Bloor Street United Church and Old Orchard Blossoms of St. Timothy's Anglican Church, North Toronto.
