Skin Tight Outta Sight Rebel Burlesque present their prelude to Halloween...
Back in the 60s and early 70s, when the burlesque phenomenon was dying, the Golden Age of "Grind" Cinema was born. Shot on the cheap, these sleazy films were screened between the live bump 'n grind girlies in the strip clubs. When burlesque went fully nude and elsewhere, these movies continued in the old theatres where the name "Grindhouse" lived on, even after the last g-string flew!
Grindhouse movies ran all night long, covering a range of titillating suspense, from slasher horror flicks to sexploitation films featuring buxom babes in suspect situations... In this Burlesque Night, Skin Tight Outta Sight will focus on the horror and their love of the undead! Acts based on such cult faves as Rosemary's Baby, Carrie, The Grudge and more. With Church Street Mistress of Ceremonies, Robin Loren, hosting as Elvira! Special Guests include Lena Love, Rae Ann Carnation and Boylesque TO. DJ Scottie P. spins the tunes for the Zombie Dance After Party - audience members can visit our Zombie Transformation Booth throughout the show, with all proceeds going to the Boobalicious Team for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer.
