Presented by: Not Available Theatre Passe Muraille is proud to present Pyaasa a one-act play written and performed by Anusree Roy that explores issues surrounding the caste system, a discriminatory form of social stratification into which every Hindu is born. Anusree Roy is the winner of two 2008 Dora Mavor Moore Awards, including Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Performance by a Female. Pyaasa runs concurrently with The Misfit as part of Theatre Passe Muraille’s Fall Festival of Four Plays.
