Presented by: World Literacy of Canada "Kama" is the Sanskrit word for pleasure, and our annual Kama Reading Series celebrates the pleasure of reading, writing and living with books. Now in its 17th year, Kama's lineup always includes both up-and-coming and well-loved authors writing in diverse fiction and nonfiction genres. Announcing the Kama 2009 Authors! January 28 - Journals and Journeys with Joseph Boyden, Mary Lou Finlay, Dan Hill and Ken McGoogan. February 25 - The Human Condition with Dan Gardner, Patricia Pearson, Jeff Sharlet and M.G. Vassanji. March 25 - Extraordinary Canadians with Adrienne Clarkson, Margaret MacMillan, Nino Ricci and John Ralston Saul. April 29 - Fiction with André Alexis, Gail Bowen, Sandra Gulland and Jan Wong. May 27 - More Fiction with David Bergen, Musharraf Ali Farooqi, Ann-Marie MacDonald and Andrew Pyper.
