Presented by: Royal Ontario Museum Canadian watercolour artist David McEown shares his passion for the polar regions through a visual recreation of his personal journeys through the Arctic and Antarctica. See a landscape coloured by vibrant tundra flowers, ice of variegated hues, and the lingering light of the midnight sun. And hear stories about chance encounters with polar bears and penguins. During the presentation, photographs of the land will dissolve into the paintings that were inspired by the journeys.
