Ancient Egyptian Art
Presented by: Royal Ontario Museum

Though the ancient Egyptians never had an all-encompassing word for art, the monuments of Egypt represent thousands of years of artistic creativity.

Study the development and traditions of Egyptian art and discover the meaning behind these expressive masterpieces. Gain a greater understanding of the ROM’s permanent collection and the artists who created them.

Instructor(s)/Speaker(s):
Zoe McQuinn is a ROM teacher, PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, and has excavated in Jordan and Egypt.
