Soundstreams Presents Orphei Drängar
Presented by: Soundstreams Canada

The world’s greatest men’s choir comes to Toronto for the first time in 20 years on conductor Robert Sunds’ farewell tour.

Renowned for their extraordinary intonation, phrasing and purity, Sweden’s illustrious 80 voice all-male choir, Orphei Drängar (OD) will dazzle in a programme that includes R. Murray Schafer's choreographed Magic Songs, Benjamin Britten’s fiery Ballad of Little Musgrave and Schubert’s famed Der 23, Psalm. OD is an iconic example of the great Swedish choral tradition and a central player in the development of new music for male-voice choir.
