Amadeus Choir
Presented by: Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto

Amadeus Choir opens its 2008/09 Music For Life

The acclaimed Amadeus Choir conducted by Artistic Director Lydia Adams presents a concert entitled Amadeus Choir and Friends. The Friends are such artists as the Gerald Fagan Singers and the Fanshawe Chorus, conducted by Gerald Fagan. Featured friends include soprano Leslie Fagan; tenor Darryl Edwards; baritone Mark Pedrotti, pianists Ruth Watson Henderson and Peter MacDonald; and the Bach Children's Chorus with its director Linda Beaupre.
Two totally different works by two totally different composers are brought together to form a program that is uniquely complementary: "Voices of Earth" by Ruth Watson Henderson and Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". Two pianos and percussion join the Amadeus Choir to present exciting, earthy, dramatic and always beautiful music.
