Presented by: International Readings at Harbourfront The 29th annual International Festival of Authors (IFOA) plays host to many of the world’s pre-eminent established and emerging literary artists for eleven days this October. See authors live on stage, mingle with literary celebrities and have books signed. The Festival presents a number of special events including readings by Scotiabank Giller Prize and Governor General’s Literary Award finalists, and the awarding of the Harbourfront Festival Prize. Young readers also have an opportunity to see their favourite authors during YoungIFOA (October 28, 30, 31). This year, YoungIFOA takes the form of “book days,” full day programmes tailored to a specific age group from Grades K to 9.
