Esfahani's paintings explore the shapes and negative spaces defined by text and text-like calligraphy and pose questions about the interpretation of both text and images. Susan Valyi’s art is a product of personal reflection on her visual memories. Her current work explores metamorphic human/animal postures that are both anthropomorphic and mythical.

The gallery is located in Cabbagetown at 191 Carlton Street, two blocks west of Parliament Street. Parking is available on side streets and at the public parking lot one block north of Carlton and Parliament on Aberdeen Street. Frequent TTC streetcar service runs on Carlton Street. The gallery is a 5 minute streetcar ride from College subway station.
