Oak Street Re-Invented – An Exhibit
Presented by: City of Toronto Culture

Observe how these significant social and architectural changes reflected the larger concerns of city residents, municipal politicians, and various social commentators.

Back by Popular Demand! Oak Street has experienced many changes in its almost two centuries of existence in Toronto’s east end. Archival photos (some not seen before), maps, artifacts, official commentary, and recordings of the residents’ personal memories reveal how Toronto’s citizens and Cabbagetown / Regent Park’s inhabitants both accepted and opposed these changes to their neighbourhood. Included with admission. Please call 416 392-6915 for further details.
