Presented by: Not Available Jessica Nicol's new series is part autobiographical of her own life experiences and part observational of the woman within her social circle. Angela Young seeks inspiration from stranger's electronic love letters that she finds posted on the Internet. Jessica Nicol explores the significance of stereotypes in today's society. She investigates how women she defines as "sirens" use disguise or manipulates their feminine power. The paintings are named after the conceived animal characteristics that Jessica feels each woman illustrates; a chameleon, fox, swan and peacock.
