DVD Studio Pro Start to Finish
Presented by: Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto

Everything you ever wanted to know about DVD Studio Pro 4 - and more!

In this intensive, two-day workshop, you will get to know the full range of tools available to the professional DVD designer. Well start by guiding you through the process of importing files, sourcing footage, and encoding audio and video, including high-quality 24p encoding for film and HD-originated material. Learn step-by-step how to create chapters and 'stories'; slideshows; subtitles and alternate audio streams. Learn how to design a visually striking, navigable DVD menu. Then, finally, build and burn the finished DVD. This class is perfect for filmmakers, video editors, designers, wedding and sports videographers, and anyone else who wants to learn how to create a professional-looking DVD on the Mac platform.

Familiarity with the Final Cut Pro program is a prerequisite. Free authoring time credit must be used before September 30, 2008. Non-members must use their time during LIFT office hours (Monday-Friday, 10 am-6 pm)

Instructor:
ADAM HUNT has worked extensively as a professional DVD designer, editor, graphic designer and post-production supervisor. His many projects have included shorts and features in 35mm, 16mm and HD.
