Awakenings: LucSculpture Group Show
Presented by: Not Available

Clay Works by artists Luc Bihan, Janet Candido, Vivian Ducas,

Awakenings is a celebration of rebirth, transformation and creative growth discovered during the first year of LucSculpture School & Studio.

Luc Bihan opened the doors to his full facility
sculpting and drawing studios early 2007. Since then, many professional artists, emerging artists and the curious have had a sun-filled location to play, create and make art.

Ducas says "Luc Bihan is a sculptor, creator, director, teacher, guide and a gentle warrior showing us how to create in a nature friendly way." The LucSulpture philosophy is simply: Respect Mother Nature. "...and you can see it in the clay sculptures that will be on exhibit."

The studios materials used are natural, non-toxic and ecologically friendly. The LucSculpture philosophy also applies to the studio and the gallery space : synthetic carpets, glue, linoleum have been removed, coats of paint were stripped to reveal wood... recycled materials are used.

Come to the opening reception on Thursday May 8, 6:00 to 8:00p.m. to see AWAKENINGS and met the artists. See the studio. Buy art or sign up for classes. Support local artists and business.

Student work will also be on display in the studio
during the opening night reception.
