Foresight: Speculative Fiction in Canada - Dave Duncan and Nalo Hopkinson
Presented by: Toronto Public Library

Two of Canada’s top fantasy authors read from their recent work.

Duncan will read from his new novel, The Alchemist’s Code, featuring the medieval adventures of physician and astrologer Nostradamus and his apprentice Alfeo Zeno in a fantastical Venice. Hopkinson will read from The New Moon’s Arms, a magical-realist novel set on a fictional Caribbean island, where a woman’s life undergoes many mysterious changes. Followed by Q&A and book-signing; books for sale by Bakka-Phoenix Science Fiction Bookstore.
