Declared "one of Toronto’s most artistic, creative and inspiring women” by the Luminato Festival, Barbara Fris has had a luminous career since her professional opera debut in 1984. Her personal charisma and vocal beauty continue to endear her to audiences. Launching their season on a high note, Music-On-the-Hill presents Ms. Fris & Canadian conductor William Shookoff in a programme of Handel and Puccini arias, Schubert lieder and the rhythmic Classical Spanish Songs by Fernando Obradors.

TTC: We are located at 19 Don Ridge Drive. If you are driving on Highway 401, turn south on Yonge St to York Mills Rd. Turn left, and head east on York Mills Rd. At the first flashing light, turn left at Old Yonge St, and follow it to Don Ridge Road.

If you are travelling on foot, the path from Yonge St. leads directly to St. John's York Mills. The path is just north of the TTC bus depot.

Getting there: St. John's York Mills Anglican Church is located on the hill overlooking the northeast corner of Yonge St. and York Mills Rd. It is a short walk up the path, just north of York Mills subway station. There is also ample free parking.
