Ancient Egypt: A Natural History
Presented by: Royal Ontario Museum

Ancient Egypt is more than mummies, pyramids and a river.

Egypt has a rich ecology and environment that looked much different than it does today. Many animals, fish, trees, plants, and birds played important roles in defining the economy and the religious beliefs of the society. Join us on this journey exploring an often overlooked aspect of Ancient Egypt: the land and the nature.

Instructor Sherine ElSebaie is a Ph.D. candidate in Egyptology at the University of Toronto.
