Interchange: War Rugs Revealed
Presented by: Textile Museum of Canada

Battleground: War Carpets from Afghanistan presents catastrophe turned into art.

Join Max Allen, Tim Bonyhady, and Nigel Lendon for an informative discussion of the symbols and significance of Afghan war rugs. Tim Bonyhady is the Director of the Centre for Environmental Law at the Australian National University in Canberra and Nigel Lendon is the Associate Head of the School of Art at the Australian National University. While at the TMC, check out Battleground: War Carpets from Afghanistan.

Tickets may be purchased at the TMC’s front desk. Please arrive early, seating is limited.
