Tricjy Sankaran is joined by special guest for this York U Faculty Concert Series performance
Bridging eastern and western styles, world-renowned percussionist and York U Music Professor Trichy Sankaran brings his rhythmic mastery to centre stage. He is joined by his daughter, Suba Sankaran, leader of the Indo-jazz-funk fusion ensemble Autorickshaw, and other special guests in a mesmerizing program of solo, ensemble and original compositions in the South Indian musical tradition.
