Presented by: Soundstreams Canada Terri Riley’s landmark work In C with Nexus, “the high-priests of the percussion world” and a 12 voice ensemble including Patricia O’Callaghan and Suba Sankaran. Plus Steve Reich’s classic Proverb and works by Toru Takemitsu. Young Artist Overture at 7 pm The Second Annual Cool Drummings International Percussion Festival presents some of the world’s greatest percussion ensembles and soloists from across Canada and around the world.
