Presented by: Soundstreams Canada The Second Annual Cool Drummings International Percussion Festival presents some of the world’s greatest percussion ensembles and soloists from across Canada and around the world. Artists include sensational Mexican ensemble Tambuco, three-time Grammy-winner Glen Velez, steel pan virtuoso Liam Teague, Toronto favorites Nexus and Beverly Johnson and vocalists Suba Sankaran and Patrica O’Callaghan. Concerts will feature a world premiere by Michael Colgrass plus works by Alice Ho, Fred Rzewski, Varese, Stockhausen, John Cage, Terry Riley and more!
