Toronto's legendary folk group, THE TRAVELLERS present their farewell concert "TALK ABOUT PEACE, featuring SHARON & BRAM, JAMES GRAY
The Travellers. Folk group formed in Toronto during the summer of 1953. Lead singer, Jerry Gray recalls 'The Weavers was [sic] our model and Pete Seeger was our patron saint. The Travellers' repertoire has included traditional Canadian and US folk songs, some First Nations songs, and contemporary titles by Wade Hemsworth, Gordon Lightfoot, and others. Their signature song is a Canadian adaptation of Woody Guthrie's 'This Land Is Your Land'.
Since 1978, Sharon Hampson and Bram Morrison have been pre-eminent in all aspects of family entertainment across North America as members of the trio "Sharon, Lois & Bram," seen by millions on "The Elephant Show" and "Skinnamarink TV." They are masters at leading audiences of all ages in joyful song and good fun.
The talented James Gray, formerly of Blue Rodeo joins the stage for his father's farewell concert.
