In a collective exhibition entitled: cut out, artists explore the constructs of suburban and urban realities, myths and misconceptions through found objects, painting, film and installation. Through the omission of data, the ideologies surrounding suburban culture are re-contextualized by examining concepts related to contradiction, invisibility, paradox, consumerism, hybridization, domestication, idealization, isolation, homogeny, nostalgia and the surreal.
