World Rhythms will take audiences on a musical journey that spans the globe and ties the major regions of the world together. This program will showcase such groups as Turn On the Tap, Mosaic (Arab Folkloric Dance Group) and Little Pear Garden Collective. Film will include a program of films dedicated to honouring the elders of the World Music community featuring icons such as Serge Gainsbourg, Ali Farke Toure and Toto La Momposina. World Recipes and recent global culinary innovations such as the “slow food movement” will be explored in the food programme.
