The Young Rembrandts arts enrichment program is based on an acclaimed, step-by-step drawing method that works hand-in-hand with our original, innovative curriculum developed by a team of artists and educators. Our singular approach is designed to tap into the three modalities children used to learn: visual, auditory and tactile/kinesthetic. Our step-by-step curriculum and tiered lesson plans form a sequential, ordered teaching process. By incorporating the concept of differentiation, the Young Rembrandts curriculum emphasizes the positive, celebrating each child’s accomplishment according to individual development. We offer afterschool classes to pre-school children (3-1/2 to 5 Years) and elementary-age children (6 to 12 Years) at host locations such as preschools, daycares and elementary schools. Our volumes of curriculum are designed so a child can be enrolled from pre-school to sixth grade and never repeat a lesson. All classes are listed on our website. Young Rembrandts Toronto classes are also available at Michaels Stores located in Toronto and we also offer summer classes and workshops at various locations. We welcome the opportunity to provide the visual arts component to other children art's programs in Toronto.
