"Whippersnapper Gallery is a Toronto based youth art collective, and a hub for young talent. As an up and coming not-for-profit organization, Whippersnapper provides artists with an affordable space to showcase their work in a professional gallery setting. The young individuals who founded Whippersnapper are practicing artists, who work diligently to maintain this community gallery. They share a passion for the arts and strongly believe in providing a venue that will allow new artists to gain experience and display their works in Toronto. Not only is Whippersnapper a gallery, but it is also a venue for artistic, cultural, and community events. Past events have included galas, lectures, musical performances, screenings, plays, readings, fashion shows, installations, and government celebrations. These happenings help to connect creative individuals from all disciplines, and provide a supportive environment for them to build relationships with both professional and emerging artists. As Whippersnapper continues to evolve so too do the individuals and events.
