Vivid abstract textile collage wall pieces
Sheree Rasmussen uses textiles as a medium of expression far beyond the boundaries of traditional textile art. Using fabric like a painters brush, her wildly expressive and powerful abstract collages are developed out of complex plays of colour and movement. Through an improvisational process, she brings a chaos of colour and shape into a harmonious relationship. Her influences, from both modernity and tradition, shape a powerful, ultimately joyful and uplifting narrative.
